ShoreTel Launches UK Connect Cloud

ShoreTel has announced a major expansion of its cloud offering in the UK with the launch of Connect CLOUD and Connect Contact Center for CLOUD.

The full UK roll out of the cloud versions of ShoreTel’s hugely successful Connect software follows 15 months after they were initially introduced in the US.

The company said the launch meant it could now provide a full UCaaS service in the UK. The move is intended to make it easier for businesses of all sizes to access cloud based communications, with straightforward deployment options and clear, simple pricing arrangements.

Choice and Flexibility

The UK launch is part of a wider strategy which is seeing ShoreTel expand its cloud based UC offering worldwide. The company has pioneered UC software and service development for more than 20 years, and sees the cloud as the critical next step in expanding the market further into the mainstream.

Aiding Collaboration

ShoreTel’s full range of UCaaS solutions will be available through Marlin Communications, who have been offering ShoreTel cloud solutions as a private managed service since early 2016.

ShoreTel Connect CLOUD aims to boost productivity and efficiency in the workplace by drawing together the very best enterprise communications solutions with collaborative features. Using the Connect client app, users can switch between communication modes at the click of a button mid conversation, with desktop and file sharing features built in. It is equally adaptable to internal and external communications, with no need for plug-ins, multiple application windows, passwords or complex set-up.

ShoreTel Connect Contact Center for CLOUD is a highly flexible contact centre solution capable of being deployed for anything from a small help desk to a large scale omni-channel environment.
